What this site collects: almost nothing, and we can show you.

What we do not do

• No analytics or advertising trackers
• No tracking pixels or session replay
• No marketing cookies
• No selling or sharing of your information
• No accounts, logins or passwords
• No embedded third-party scripts other than our live chat

What is collected when you visit

The site is a set of static pages, plus a small handler for the contact form, served by Cloudflare, our hosting and network provider. As with any web request, Cloudflare receives your IP address, browser type and the page you asked for. It uses that to deliver the page and to protect the site from abuse, and it keeps its own short-lived logs under its own privacy policy. We do not add any tracking of our own on top of that.

Our typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser also sends a request, including your IP address, to Google's font servers. Google says it does not use Fonts requests to build advertising profiles.

Our live chat is provided by tawk.to. Its script loads on every page, so even if you never open the chat, your browser connects to tawk.to's servers and tawk.to receives your IP address, browser type, approximate location and the page you are on. That lets us see that someone is on the site and offer to help. It is not used for advertising, and we do not combine it with any other data.

The site sets no cookies of its own. The live chat sets its own cookies and similar browser storage so that a conversation stays connected as you move between pages and can pick up where it left off. Cloudflare may also set a strictly necessary security cookie to tell people from automated traffic. None of these are used for tracking or advertising.

What you send us

When you press Send inquiry on the contact page, what you typed goes over an encrypted connection to our own form handler on veritymsc.com, which passes it straight to our business email and keeps no copy. The same applies if you email us directly. Either way, we receive what you choose to give us: usually your name, practice, state, number of locations, service lines, email address and, if you give it, a phone number.

We use that only to reply, scope the work you asked about, and keep a record of the conversation. It is held in our business email, hosted by Microsoft 365, and in our own client files, which only Verity’s principals can access. The form uses no third-party form service, script or tracker.

Live chat

If you use the chat, what you type, and any name or email address you give it, is sent to tawk.to and stored in Verity’s tawk.to account, where only Verity’s principals can read it. tawk.to holds it under its own privacy policy. We use chat conversations the same way as inquiries: to reply, scope the work you asked about, and keep a record of the conversation. Please do not share patient information in the chat.

How long we keep it

This applies to chat conversations as well as form and email inquiries. If an inquiry does not lead to an engagement, we delete it within 24 months of our last contact, or sooner if you ask. If it does, it becomes part of the engagement record and is kept for as long as our contract and the law require.

Client work is covered separately

This notice covers the website and general inquiries. When we work for a practice and may see patient information, that work is governed by our engagement agreement and a business associate agreement signed before any access, not by this page.

Your choices

Wherever you live, you can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@veritymsc.com with the subject "Privacy request" and one of the principals will reply. We do not sell personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of.

This site is meant for business owners and clinicians, not for children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Changes

If we change what the site collects, we will update this notice first and change the effective date above.
